Cats Should Rule the World, Says New Poll

In a stunning new XPTO poll, 88% of respondents have said they'd rather be ruled by cats than by most of the politicians they know. The remaining 12% answered dogs.

The study asked a sizable sample of people from across the world who would they rather be ruled by, politicians they know or cats.

In a reaction to the poll, Josh Fake explained: "I think people realize, particularly cat owners, that cats are apt for ruling, in the sense that they, just like the politicians they know, don't give a damn about your problems. They just want to sleep and be fed. So while neither contributes much to the resolution of the problems afflicting society, they're at least soothing to look at. Which is certainly an advantage over most if not all politicians". Fake later added "and it's pretty difficult to increase taxes when you're a cat".

The International Cat Association has already responded saying "meow" while  PETA issued a statement calling the poll results "a good start but not enough".
